I haven't had much chance to blog as I have had so much on, I'm starting a beauty course at college on thursday, its only 1 day a week but loooooots of home study, I'm so excited to have something to focus on but so so nervous, I just keep worrying bout having a panic attack in class, or not actully having enough guts to go!

Gosh it's been a while!

Well I won't bore you all with the whole story of why I have not blogged in a couple of months!

Basically we had a car accident, someone drove into the back of my car whilst we were waiting at a juction, which has resulted in my new car (the one my MIL gave me!!) being written off, not only that but i am still suffering quite bad with my whiplash, im in pain in my whole and nexk, massive headaches all day everyday!!

Have physio starting soon so i really hope it helps.

I have been quite low since and trying to stay positive but it so hard just seems when anything goes good in life, it just gets taking away!

Well I have a few cards to show and will try and start blogging again, i do miss it!

Well had a lovely birthday, thanks for the lovely messages!

Had a few family problems but when I came home from my shopping trip, i had a lovely suprise card from Natalie which really, really made me feel better so thank you so much Nat, it is so pink and gorgeous!

Heres a pic and underneath Natalie's card are some other handmade cards I recieved from friends/family....

I also got the large scalloped and plain rectangle nestabilities die from my mum an step dad, so was very pleased and have had lots of fun playing with them just need to make the cards lol, got lots of money too, so will be making a trip to hobycraft with my crafting stepmum AND I have ordered my new set of nellies 'Sweet Ebony' I was so dissapointed when they sold out so quick but will hopefully get them thru the post very soon, also had 2 other nellies into the basket whilst i was shopping lol, well its not often I get to spoil myself is it!

We have had a busy day today as we have been babysitting a little 6 month old girl today, shes so gorgeous and sooooo good, I even managed to make my choccie birthday cake, homemade lasagne AND a card!!!!!

I have not really had time to craft so far this week, although my stepmum came over sunday for a craft day but i didnt do any of my own work cuz I had to help with my step mums order.
Well its my 26th birthday this saturday, I am feeling old now, bless my mum forgot how old I was lol, she ordered my nestibilities dies so I cant wait to get them and have a play, my other half has been a meanie and says hes not buying me any stamps!!!!
Can you believe him~?????? Well if I get and birthday money I shall defo be spending it on more stash lol, but I do need some new clothes so will have to be sensible I guess!

It's Raining Men!

Well it's raining and all my cards today are for men!!

Don't enjoy making male cards as much as girly pink cards so it took ages to find the inspriartion for these, I actually feel drained now, but I like to make the effort for my Stepdad's b-day cuz he does alot for me and I know he appreciates my creations.

This is the Grandad card from Emily, I canot take all of the credit as Emily actually coloured the Simon & Lola image in with my watercolour pencils and then blended it, bless her shes so good, I did the rest of the card.

Last one is for my cousin, he loves fishing, hence the 'Fishafella' image and fishing BP from the masculine Dovecraft collection.

Horrible day but happy now!

Had a rubbish day today as I had a blood test straight after dropping Emily off at school and Im the biggest baby ever when it comes to needles, only had to have one tube taken as they are testing for arthritis as I have had alot of problems with pain and locking in my knees for ages now!

Anyway I was brave, then I went with Steve to get my haircut, 1st time in about 8 months, what with my anxiety panic attacks I find it hard to go out alot but really pushed myself today and finally had my counselling which if anyone has had will understand it can be very draining.

But when i eventually got home look what the postman had delivered....................................

This Gorgeous card and billy images From Natalie oh it really did put a huuuuuuge smile on my face, so BIG THANK YOU NATALIE YOU REALLY MADE MY DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will try to find the time to actually make some cards, I just need to stop spring cleaning!!!

I can't believe how lovely the weather has been today, i spent all day inside though lol, well I sat by the window crafting this afternoon so I actually have somethings to show, check me out!

I did start to do the papertake weekely challenge but got in such a stress as I just didn't have any inpiration, but instead of throwing it in the bin I carried on with a different layout, here it is..

My step-mum asked me if I could make here a candle as she loved the one I did for my friend So here it is.......

Another candle, this time for my daughter as it was so tiny and cute!!

Last but not least I made this girly card using with Emily's Whipper Snapper 'Ballet Brielle' stamp and some Dovecraft Glamour prints paper..................

Time To Catch Up!!

Gosh I didn't realise it has been that long since the last time I blogged, time has flown by this half term, it was also my other half's birthday last week so Emily and I were very busy with our creations, which included Cards, an altered tin for his odd bits and loose change that I was fed up of finding lying all over the house lol, also made my famous choc cake but silly me forgot to take pics of it, it's prob for the best as you would only want some lol, it was yummy but has about a million calories per slice!!!!!

You probably noticed I have also changed the colours on my blog, as my daughter just said 'Oh Mummy not again'!

And will hopefully get one of those gorgeous headers that u all have as I'm feeling very left out and odd not having one lol!

First I have to show you the card Emily made for Steve, I am so proud as she designed and did it all bless her...

I gave her some help with the cutting on the thank you card, which was made for her Grandparents as they paid for her new bike......

And the Altered tin, which I tried not to make to girly but hey It matches our new bedroom ;-)

Emily is back to school 2moz so hopefully should be able to get some crafting and blogging in very soon (after I have spring cleaned the house) !!

My Step-mum has been here all day as we had another craft day, we had a fab day and i made 8 cards and I made my first candle (thanks to Maria's tutorial) and a matching card for my best buddy!

It feels like I've never been away!

Well we got back Saturday late afternoon after a long 4 and a half hours drive home, we had to pick the dog up from the kennels to so it was a long drive.

Anyway Brixham was lovely, the caravan pack was quite which is what I prefer, I sometimes think I'm an 80 year old in a young womens body lol!

Finally caught up with the washing, I just have a HUUUUUUUGE pile of ironing up to my window sill so will need a whole day to do that, it's rubbish how quick everything goes back to normal after a great holliday, I really want to move away now and am seriously thinking about doing a house swap.

I have also made up for all the crafting I have missed out on whilst away by making 10 cards today, 3 little easter cards. 6 thank you cards and a male birthday card made for a Reading Football Club supporter all the cards are quite simple but I defo love the pink!

Yay we are off on our hols!!!

I made these cards yesterday but didn't get chance to post due to having several visitors and phone calls!!

I have made my first Magnolia card, I do not have the stamps yet, bit i love them and will need to save my pennies!

This my first card made with my bella stamp(balloonabella) I love it!

It's actually a valentine's card for my boyfriend, I know it's quite girly, but it will look lovely on my shelf lol, I'm sure he will like it! (I just hope he doesn't look at my blog!).

Probably won't get chance to make any cards today cuz my new washing machine is getting delivered any time now and I'm gonna have a go at plumbing it in, I must e made but I'm so excited I have saved all my washing so I can use it later lol!

My 1st Post!

I have spent the past few weeks looking at loads of crafting blogs, and thought it's about time I made my own!
It will probably take me a while to get used to how it works but i will try and post often.
Anyway a bit about me......
I'm a 25year old stay at home mum to my gorgeous Daughter, Emily, she is six and loves crafting as much as me, which is great as she get just as excited I do when the postman brings new crafting stash!!
Also live with my partner, who is NOT so enthusiastic about crafting, and thinks im totally crazy for getting excited about paper and stamps??!!!
I'm just getting into rubber stamping, I love colouring the images and i admit i cheated in the past and brought ready stamped images from Ebay!!!!
But i got my first stamp for xmas....Penny Black's BUN BUN, aww isnt is so cute, and just recieved my 1st order from STAMPING BELLAS, had a little play with them, but need more practice.
I'm going to try and add my card for the Papertake weekly challenge but need to work out how lol!
